Polof is a creature that only appears inKirby's Dream Land 3. It resembles a rabbit with brown fur and a pink belly, two red feet and no nose or mouth.

Polof may be an individual, as only a single one is found in the entire game. While it can hurtKirby by jumping into him, its main purpose is to reveal the location of a hidden room containingstar pieces and a1-Up in thefirst stage ofSand Canyon by hopping towards and disappearing through an invisible door. Letting Polof pass through the door first is not a requirement for Kirby to be able to enter it, however.

Polof can be defeated using any attack, but does not yield anyCopy Abilities.
