"Plains Stage"[Japanese title] is a stage theme fromKirby's Dream Land 3. This theme was composed byJun Ishikawa, and has also been remixed inKirby Star Allies.
Composition[edit]

"Plains Stage" has a somewhat slow tempo, but has a fast drumbeat. Its composition is characteristic ofragga jungle, which combines elements of reggae (such as the laidback tempo and syncopated rhythms) and jungle music (such as the fast breaks and heavy bass). This theme is primarily in the key of C.

Kirby's Dream Land 3[edit]
Plains Stage debuts inKirby's Dream Land 3, and is first heard throughout thefourth stage ofGrass Land. Said track can also be heard in thesecond stage ofRipple Field. It can be found asBGM 10 in theSound Test.
Kirby Star Allies[edit]
InKirby Star Allies, a more tropical arrangement of Plains Stage plays throughout the stagesPlanet Misteen andMareen Moon inFar-Flung Starlight Heroes. This version makes use of higher fidelity instruments and synths, while a second loop is added which features slight deviations in instrumentation and percussion patterns. It is known as"Misteen's Oceans" onNintendo Music and is arranged by its original composer, Jun Ishikawa. This track can be found as track 063 in theJukebox.
