Formed from strong psychic energy and modeled on specific memories of his role in the real world, this phantom copy of Sillydillo will forever wander Forgo Dreams, searching high and low for Elfilin and Kirby... At least its dance moves are still impressive!
— Figure description fromKirby and the Forgotten Land

Phantom Sillydillo (titledArmor-Plated Illusion) is a more powerful illusory form ofSillydillo which appears as theboss ofForgo Wasteland inKirby and the Forgotten Land and itsNintendo Switch 2 Edition, and can also be fought in both The Ultimate Cup Z and The Ultimate Cup Z EX in theColosseum. Phantom Sillydillo looks and fights largely the same as its real counterpart, but has a different color scheme, now having pink fur, magenta claws and nose, a green shell, and eyes that match those ofFecto Forgo in its "Invasive Species" form.

Attacks[edit]

Phantom Sillydillo has all of the same attacks as its normal counterpart, but it attacks faster and some of its attacks have new properties. It also has a few new attacks, and has morehealth than Sillydillo.

Phantom Sillydillo has 1,900 HP when fought inForgo Wasteland and 1,330 HP when fought at the Colosseum. It enters phase 2 when its health is at 80% or lower and enters phase 3 when its health is at 40% or lower. It takes 0.2X damage during phase transitions.[1]

The following lists all of Phantom Sillydillo's attacks (attack names are from theKirby and the Forgotten Land Perfect Support Guide).

Forgo Wasteland and The Ultimate Cup Z[edit]

Phantom Sillydillo's attacks from Forgo Wasteland and The Ultimate Cup Z inKirby and the Forgotten Land
AttackDescriptionNotes
ナゲタ・パラパ
Throw Dillo
Phantom Sillydillo approaches Kirby with three handmade bombs that resemble the pink puffball and tosses them at him. These can be inhaled and spat back before they explode. Despite being bombs, they do not provide any ability if swallowed.
アレダ・パラパ
Gotcha Dillo
Phantom Sillydillo approaches Kirby and tries to capture him with an unguardable cage, either using a lateral swing close to the ground or a lateral swing up high. If caught, Kirby will be trapped in the cage, and shaken about for heavy damage until he escapes (done by the player mashing the control stick). The swing leaves aDropped Star behind upon finishing. If the player fails to make Kirby escape the cage, Phantom Sillydillo will end the attack by slamming the cage on the ground, defeating Kirby no matter how much health he has left.
Second and third phase only
コロガ・パラパ
Rolling Dillo
Phantom Sillydillo rolls up into a ball and starts revving up. It then charges at Kirby in a straight line at high speed three times in quick succession, each one leaving a few Dropped Stars in its wake. At the end of the third charge, Phantom Sillydillo skids to a stop as it leaves more Dropped Stars around it.The time it takes for Phantom Sillydillo to charge after revving decreases in the third phase.
バラマ・パラパ
Scatter Dillo
Phantom Sillydillo approaches Kirby with five handmade bombs that resemble the pink puffball and tosses them out in a spinning motion that resembles its cage swing. These can be inhaled and spat back before they explode. Despite being bombs, they do not provide any ability if swallowed.
Third phase only
ソワレ・パラパ・スクリーン
Soirée Dillo Screen
During the start of phase 3, Phantom Sillydillo will summon a sandstorm that obscures visibility for the rest of the battle until it is defeated. It takes 0.2X damage during the duration of the "attack."A soirée is a party held in the evening.
グラン・パ・ド・ドゥ
Grand Pas de Deux
Phantom Sillydillo pulls out one of its "dance partners" and starts twirling around with it, bouncing off the walls of the arena and leaving Dropped Stars on occasion.Agrand pas de deux is a pas de deux with a fixed structure.
パ・ド・ドゥ
Pas de Deux
Phantom Sillydillo pulls out its "dance partners" and tosses two of them towards Kirby. These weakly home in on him and leave Dropped Stars as they pass. This move is usually performed right after "Grand Pas de Deux".A pas de deux is a ballet duet performed by two dancers, typically a man and a woman.

Trivia[edit]

  • If Kirby fails to escape Phantom Sillydillo's cage after being captured, Phantom Sillydillo will eventually slam the cage down and defeat him instantly. This makes Phantom Sillydillo and itsoriginal counterpart some of the few foes in the entireKirby series to have the ability to instantly defeat the player regardless of how much health they currently have.
  • The English figure description for Phantom Sillydillo uses both male and neutral pronouns to describe it. This is likely an error, as Sillydillo (as well as nearly all phantom bosses) are otherwise consistently referred to with neutral pronouns.
