Phanta

Phanta is a ghostly flying enemy that debuted inKirby: Triple Deluxe. It resembles a white sheet ghost with a red skull-shaped mask, bearing a permanent sorrowful expression with glowing yellow eyes. It typically attacks by appearing out of nowhere and then drifting towardsKirby, similar toMumbies, though Phanta will not recoil if looked at. If attacked, it may vanish and reappear elsewhere. Phanta can be defeated with any regular attack, and grants noCopy Ability ifinhaled.

Phanta makes its debut inKirby: Triple Deluxe, where it essentially pursues Kirby upon poofing into the scene. If encountered in a mirror hall, it is invisible unless perceived through the mirror.

Phanta returns inKirby and the Forgotten Land and itsNintendo Switch 2 Edition as a common enemy, where it is first given its English name. It has the same look and behavior as before, though it may vanish and reappear on occasion itself. Additionally, afigure of Phanta can be obtained in this game. Phanta also appears inStar-Crossed World in the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, though it does not have a Crystal variant.

- Phanta's physical appearance seems to resemble the PokémonDuskull, albeit with different colors, depressed-looking eye sockets with no red orb visible, and different proportions.
