Owgulf[Japanese title] is an enemy fromKirby's Return to Dream Land that debuts inNutty Noon. When inhaled, Kirby gets theWing ability from him.

Owgulf has the face of a horned owl, with red body, blue eyes and an orange crest, with small orange wings and tail. It flies back and forth and, upon spotting an intruder from below, will attempt to toss feather needles at them. Owgulf is the only creature inReturn to Dream Land that yields theWing ability, and is also the last yielder of a returning ability in that game.

Possibly from a rearrangement of syllables in「フグルオウ」(fuguruō), which is a corruption of「フクロウ」(fukurō, owl)
