Nylon is one of the sixRavel Abilities present inKirby's Extra Epic Yarn.
Overview[edit]
When obtained, Nylon givesKirby a frilly blue hat which allows him to create vortexes of wind at any time.
Nylon is one of the few ravel abilities that replaces Kirby's standardYarn Whip. Instead, Kirby creates a vortex of wind with strong momentum that can defeat enemies in a decent horizontal range all around him and draw in nearbybeads. The direction and speed of the vortex is determined by the player's input: if maintaining or initiating adash, Kirby will spin with greater horizontal speed, while holding up before or during the attack allows Kirby to ascend a little, giving him a sort of second jump; two directions can be applied at once. After its use Kirby is unable to perform any other attack or transformation in the air, leaving him vulnerable until he lands. Notably, the vertical range of the ability is not enough to reach theBonus Bell without jumping, which distinguishes it from other abilities.
