Nintendo Music is a mobile music streaming app byNintendo, released on October 30th, 2024, for iOS and Android, exclusively forNintendo Switch Online subscribers. It features a variety of music from Nintendo games, includingKirby games, and receives regular updates to add soundtracks of more games.
Overview[edit]
Nintendo Music functions like most music streaming services, allowing for the streaming and downloading of music tracks, as well as the creation of playlists, favoriting tracks, and other functions. Game soundtracks are usually added weekly. TwoKirby games were available at launch:Kirby's Dream Land andKirby Star Allies.
The app contains music grouped by game, and each game also has its own set of playlists. All games have a "Top tracks" playlist, that contains a selection of tracks that are, for the most part, the "main" ones of the game (in the case ofKirby games, usually original songs found inStory Mode, omitting jingles). Some games with a good number of tracks, likeKirby Star Allies, also have themed playlists, such as for specific modes. There are also official playlists which can feature tracks from multiple games, including those based on specific characters, moods, and common game scenes such as boss battles and staff credits. The app also has a function to prevent spoilers for games selected by the user, which blocks every track of said game from being played or having its details viewed. Finally, for the most part, each separate track has its own unique image that shows an occasion in which the track plays in that game; forKirby tracks specifically, most tracks have a unique image, save for a couple exceptions like bonus tracks.
Certain tracks can be extended to 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes. Generally in the case ofKirby tracks, most tracks that loop in-game can be extended (leaving out jingles, cutscene themes, and credits themes), but some exceptions exist. There is also a sleep timer which can stop playback after the selected interval of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
Certain newly released or upcoming games have a selection of tracks available as a "Special Release", where tracks are attributed to a playlist rather than a proper game entry.Kirby Air Riders was the first game to have music added this way.
Kirby soundtracks[edit]
As of now,Kirby soundtracks on Nintendo Music only have titles available in Japanese, American English, and British English. All non-Japanese languages display the English titles, with the regional variant changing based on the user's region: Europe and Australia/New Zealand display the British English titles, and The Americas and Hong Kong/Taiwan/South Korea display the American English titles.
The only significant differences between the American English and British English titles are referring to games with their regional names (for example,Kirby: Canvas Curse is referred to asKirby: Power Paintbrush), though there are occasionally minor formatting differences as well. Only the American English titles are displayed on this page; titles in other languages can be foundhere.
Kirby's Dream Land[edit]
All tracks fromKirby's Dream Land are available, mostly matching the tracks available in itsSound Test, but omitting the versions of the stage themes without intros, adding up to a total of 15 tracks.

Kirby Star Allies[edit]
Kirby Star Allies tracks appear to be directly taken from theKirby Star Allies: The Original Soundtrack album, as the default length of tracks mostly matches, and certain quirks match (such as "Chop Champs" and "Suite: The Star-Conquering Traveler (Movement 4: The Birth of Hope)" being the pre-2.0.0 versions). However, all 20pre-boss and post-boss soundscapes and environmental noises are omitted, reducing the number of tracks to 213.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land[edit]
23 music tracks fromKirby and the Forgotten Land were made available for the game's 3-year anniversary on March 25, 2025, and 91 additional tracks got added on August 26, 2025, a few days before the release ofKirby and the Forgotten Land – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World. The tracks listed mostly take after their appearance onKirby and the Forgotten Land: The Complete Soundtrack, as the running times for most (but not all) tracks match up with that CD release, various cutscene themes have included sound effects like the soundtrack, and all of its album-exclusive tracks are included, except two ("Lab Discovera" and "To a Place that Reaches the Stars"); however, one additional track not on the soundtrack is included ("The Dream Discoveries Tour (Guide Off)").

Interestingly, althoughKirby Super Star is referred to asKirby's Fun Pak in the British English version of theKirby Star Allies soundtrack, it is still referred to asKirby Super Star in the British English version of this soundtrack. On August 19, 2025 and October 23, 2025, on the same days theKirby Air Riders Direct andKirby Air Riders Direct #2 aired, respectively, some tracks from the game were released on Nintendo Music ahead of the game's launch, as part of a new feature called "Special Release". These tracks are not listed as game entries, but rather as playlists, and are not present in any other playlists either (except for "2025 Selects").
