"Ninja Dojo - Title" is a theme fromKirby's Return to Dream Land and itsremake that plays as the title screen of theNinja Dojo. It was composed byJun Ishikawa.[1]

Composition[edit]

Ninjas doing ninja things.

"Ninja Dojo - Title" is a relatively short theme in C minor pentatonic and 4/4. It is largely similar to the "Mini-Game" theme fromKirby's Dream Land 3, with changes to fit the minor pentatonic for the majority of the piece, thus bringing it close to another variant of "Mini-Game": "Battle with Friends: Waddle Dee". In contrast to said themes, "Ninja Dojo - Title" has a generally slower pace, as well as a strong attack and detached articulation.

Game appearances[edit]

InKirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, there is a rearranged version of the theme with the same name which plays under the same circumstances. A remastered version of the original theme plays as the secret song after clearing all the missions associated with the sub-game. Both versions are in theJukebox as tracks 82 and 150.

Finally, a portion of this song can also be heard in "The Merry, Magical World of Magolor!", which plays after completing 100 missions inMerry Magoland. It is accessible as track 200 in the Jukebox, and is composed byYuki Shimooka[1].
