Needlous is anenemy that debuted inKirby: Nightmare in Dream Land as the replacement forSpiny fromKirby's Adventure, and later appeared inKirby: Canvas Curse,Kirby's Return to Dream Land, theNew Challenge Stages ofKirby's Dream Collection Special Edition andKirby and the Forgotten Land. In all of its appearances, Needlous yields theNeedleCopy Ability when it isinhaled and swallowed byKirby.

Characteristics[edit]

Needlous has a caterpillar-like body with yellow and black stripes, similar in some respect toCapiller. It has eight spikes coming out from various places at the top of its body, three on each side of its waist, and two on its back. Needlous attacks by curling itself in a ball and rolling toward Kirby. When it is not attacking, it only inches slowly across the ground.
