Remix & Bonus stages[edit]
The Remix I and Remix II stages are the main attractions of theNES Remix series. In these, the games are modified to provide a new experience. These "remixes" can range from changing the games' colors to restricting the controls or putting certain elements like characters into other games while keeping their original functions. In Bonus stages, there are both "regular" as well as "remix" stages—the regular ones often revolving around bonus content in the original games, like theGoal Game bonus inKirby's Adventure.NES Remix 2 features 20 stages in both Remix I and Remix II and 22 Bonus stages, whileUltimate NES Remix features 25 stages in both Remix I and Remix II and 26 Bonus stages. Due to both games sharing some of these stages, the respective stage number can vary between them. There are some stages only featured in one of these games.
