Moai Block^{[Japanese title]} is a hazard which can be found inKirby's Return to Dream Land, inRaisin Ruins - Stage 2 andRaisin Ruins - Stage 4. Moai Blocks are stone formations which resembleKabu in appearance, though there are a variety of blocks which form 'bodies' under the Kabu-like heads. The fairer blocks do not pose a threat toKirby and his friends, but the red Moai faces are capable of spouting flames on a regular cycle.

These blocks can only be destroyed using theFlare Beam andUltra Sword Super Abilities. Doing so will leave behindPoint Stars and potentiallyfood items as well.

The name of these objects comes from the real-worldmoai statues ofEaster Island. This is in turn where Kabu's look originates.
