| “ | This creature loves to fire torpedoes at poor little Kirby for no good reason at all. And he's not getting paid to do this—he does it for fun. It's almost like it's just some sort of game to him. | ” | — Figurine description ofMini Deepsee fromKirby and the Rainbow Curse |
Mini Deepsee is a sea anemone-likeenemy which made his first appearance inKirby and the Rainbow Curse. He stays in one place, trackingKirby's position and periodically shooting missiles that move in straight lines. It takes two hits fromKirby Submarine to defeat Mini Deepsee, and the missiles themselves can be destroyed when they hit a rainbow rope. Mini Deepsee awards 100 points and 3Point Stars when defeated.
InStory Mode, Mini Deepsee appears only inKirby Submarine's Torpedo Time, though he also appears inChallenge Mode.
