Mecha-Kracko[Japanese title] is a robotic variant ofKracko that debuts as a boss inKirby: Squeak Squad. It is built and controlled byDoc, though this is not revealed until halfway through the boss fight.

Characteristics[edit]

Mecha-Kracko looks like a metal box with yellow horns that conduct electricity and cannons sticking out of it. In the center is a green-irised eye that would eventually reveal a cockpit where Doc hides. Mecha-Kracko's cannons release a smoky fog to hide the fact that it is a robot.

Game appearances[edit]

Kirby: Squeak Squad[edit]

Mecha-Kracko first appears as the boss ofCushy Cloud inStage 6 ofKirby: Squeak Squad. WhenKirby reaches the boss arena,Daroach summons Mecha-Kracko and flies off the arena, leaving Kirby to deal with the mechanical cloud.

In his boss battle, Mecha-Kracko has two phases, each represented by twohealth bars. During the first phase, Mecha-Kracko attacks similarly to a typical Kracko, by charging electric sparks at Kirby and charging up after him. Like Kracko, Mecha-Kracko can summon enemies, such asStarmen,Waddle Dees, andWaddle Doos.

Once the first stamina bar is depleted, Mecha-Kracko falters and reveals thatDoc is driving it within its eye. In this second phase, it sometimes will destroy the ground Kirby is standing on and replace it with gaps in some parts. Mecha-Kracko also gains the ability to surround itself with electricity and shoot electricity down towards Kirby.

Kirby Star Allies[edit]

Mecha-Kracko appears inKirby Star Allies as a cameo portrayed in theCelebration Picture, "The Great Labyrinth Battle".
