Maw is a large-mandible, eponymous foe resemblant ofGhost Knight without its armor that dwells in seldom-seen areas, whether it be within the clouds withinShiver Star - Stage 2, or from below the ice as inShiver Star - Stage 1 inKirby 64: The Crystal Shards. It lies in wait forKirby to approach, then it will attempt to snatch him up in its mouth. If successful, it will chew for a moment, then spit him out, dealingdamage. It cannot beinhaled, and functions exactly likePacto does in other games.
