- This article is about Waddle Dees who chop down trees in Kirby: Triple Deluxe. For Waddle Dees in a more general context, seeWaddle Dee.
Lumberjack Waddle Dee[1] (referred to in the game files asWoodcutter Waddle Dee) is an enemy and stage hazard that debuted in the gameKirby: Triple Deluxe. They areWaddle Dees who wear green hats and carry axes, and their only job is to cut down large trees in the background which are timed to fall whenKirby draws near. After the tree falls, it will not reappear, leaving the lumberjack to simply wave his arms and axe. When the tree falls, it is capable of breaking heavy stone and metal blocks.
While the Waddle Dee itself may or may not be invulnerable, it is always found in an area where Kirby himself cannot reach.
Lumberjack Waddle Dee only appears in stages6 EX ofFine Fields, and7 EX ofRoyal Road.
