This article is about the armor-clad Cutter enemy found inKirby's Dream Land 2, and should not be confused with the similar-lookingSir Kibble from most other Kirby games.

Lord Kibble is an obscureenemy fromKirby's Dream Land 2 that appears in many of the games' stages, takingSir Kibble's role as the primary provider forCutter.

It looks and behaves very similarly to Sir Kibble, to such an extent that it can be mistaken for Sir Kibble under a different name, but it is consistently treated as a separate character in Japanese material such as the 2022Kirby Character Encyclopedia. The two were conflated in international versions ofKirby: Triple Deluxe, but as ofKirby's Dream Buffet, it is distinguished from Sir Kibble in international material as well.

In terms of distinguishing features, Lord Kibble's armor is more crude and simplistic than its counterpart (noticeably, its visor cannot open or close, and only exists to give emphasis to its small eye slit), and it notably lacks arms. Although it has not physically reappeared in any games since its debut, Sir Kibble would take many visual cues from it inKirby's Dream Land 3 andKirby 64: The Crystal Shards.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe[edit]

After a long absence, Lord Kibble reappears inKirby: Triple Deluxe as a randomly-obtainedKeychain, depicting itssprite fromKirby's Dream Land 2. It is mistakenly referred to as Sir Kibble rather than Lord Kibble in the English version, though the Japanese version uses its correct name.

Kirby's Dream Buffet[edit]

Lord Kibble appears as a Character Treat inKirby's Dream Buffet, once again using his sprite fromKirby's Dream Land 2. Notably, he is referred to here as "Lord Kibble" in English for the first time.
