- This article is about the object inKirby and the Forgotten Land. For the common stage hazard in other games, seeCoconut.
AKnock-Knock Nut[1] is a coconut-like object that appears primarily in tropical stages inKirby and the Forgotten Land. It can be found sitting on the ground or floating in water, and superficially resembles acoconut from previousKirby games, but is lighter in hue and smoother. WhenKirby runs into a Knock-Knock Nut or attacks it, it will get "knocked" away and start to crack. Hitting it three times in this manner (or hitting it once with a spat projectile) will cause the nut to shatter, revealing an item inside, typicallyfood. Knock-Knock Nuts cannot beinhaled, and Kirby should be careful not to kick it out of bounds if he wants what's inside. Enemy attacks do not affect Knock-Knock Nuts, but Kirby can kick a nut at an enemy to attack it.
Afigure for Knock-Knock Nut can be collected, though it lacks a description. In the stageAbandoned Beach, one of themissions is to find and break all three Knock-Knock Nuts in the stage.
