The stage begins in a palatial setting, with a path leading up with water on both sides. Up ahead, some stationaryBlockbots can be found which can be activated using a nearbyswitch. Kirby will then have to follow the Blockbot as it makes a path for him very slowly over thebottomless pit ahead. Meanwhile, a second Blockbot follows behind, destroying the parts of the path it walks over. Along the way, severalstar pieces can be collected from? Holes and from the path itself. The Blockbot works at this for a good long while, snaking around walls in the process. At the end of this path, Kirby can use some boost pads to launch himself past some pools and then take a ride on acloud to reach the gate over to the right.
Past the gate, Kirby will need to make use of two barbumpers to make his way across a "very deep hole". From here, Kirby needs to pass a room full of boost pads and ? Holes, then ride a cloud into a new area. In the following room, Kirby will need to hit five switches to make the Blockbots move out of the way, granting him access to the Warp Star leading to the boss chamber.
In the Extra Game, there is a fire bar hazard placed in the middle of the Blockbot route, and two extraGordos are present in the room with boost pads near the end.
In the boss room, Kirby needs to pick up aballoon in order to take to the skies. From there, Kracko appears and starts filling the area withGordos while shooting Li'l Krackos at Kirby. Kirby can attack Kracko using hisAir Bullets, but he also needs to keep in mind when his balloon timer runs out and get more from a ? Hole when needed. Kracko also moves more quickly after each time he is hit. After six hits, Kracko is defeated.
When taking the cloud to the first gate, Kirby should stay on it instead of disembarking right away, and let the cloud carry him to the left. From there, he can get onto a small platform and break a fragile wall to get this star.
