Kibble Blade is amid-boss who debuted inKirby's Return to Dream Land that yields theCutterCopy Ability when inhaled. Its attacks are similar to that of its smaller cousin,Sir Kibble, in that it tosses the blade on its head. It can do this in several different patterns. It will also attempt to ramKirby, much like most of the other mid-bosses.

Kirby's Return to Dream Land /Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe[edit]

Kibble Blade debuted inKirby's Return to Dream Land, acting as a mid-boss throughout the game and using mostly his blade to attackKirby. InExtra Mode andThe True Arena,Kibble Blade EX, a tougher variant of the normal enemy using black armor is found. Exclusively in these games, Super Inhaling its cutter blades during battle can also grant Kirby the Cutter ability.

Kibble Blade leaps in the air and then throws a cutter blade diagonally downwards in front of itself. The cutter blade can be super-inhaled and swallowed to get the Cutter ability. A star is left behind after the blade hits the ground.Its normal form jumps in place before throwing and only uses this attack when low on health, but its EX form may jump towards the center of the arena before throwing and can use this attack before losing health.

Kibble Blade EX jumps back, holds position for two seconds, then very quickly charges headfirst until it hits the wall on the other side. Stars appear after it slams into the wall and lands on the ground.
Hyper Boomerang[conjectural title]When low on health, Kibble Blade EX charges up and throws an extra-large cutter boomerang, flying in the same trajectory as its Charge Cutter attack. This extra-large cutter blade cannot be super-inhaled.

When low on health, Kibble Blade EX charges up and throws two cutter boomerangs in different directions in quick succession. The cutter blades can be super-inhaled and swallowed to get the Cutter ability. Stars are left behind after the blades hit the ground or ceiling where applicable.

Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition[edit]

InKirby's Dream Collection Special Edition, Kibble Blade appears inNew Challenge Stages, where it is fought inSmash Combat Chamber andSmash Combat Chamber EX. Kibble Blade functions just like it did inKirby's Return to Dream Land.

Kirby: Planet Robobot[edit]

Kibble Blade returns inKirby: Planet Robobot, now sporting a new semi-robotic look to fit with the mechanization theme of the game. It also has an upgraded version known asKibble Blade 2.0, possessing a new gold coloration compared to Kibble Blade EX.

When fighting its regular form in this game alongside the regular battles in bothTeam Kirby Clash Deluxe andSuper Kirby Clash, it begins with this fixed order on loop as follows:

  1. Cutter Boomerang
  2. Charge Cutter
  3. Head Tackle

After losing approximately half of its health, it abruptly switches to one of two fixed orders on loop as follows:

Kibble Blade is fought on three separate occasions inTeam Kirby Clash Deluxe. Here, it is beefed up in size and strength, and given a number of new attacks.

Super Kirby Clash[edit]

Kibble Blade is fought three separate times inSuper Kirby Clash, behaving like it did in the previous game. It's fought twice on its own, and again withGigant Edge as part of Team Mighty Cleave. It is however largely out-shined by its ice-cold cousin,Frost Kibble Blade.
