This article is about the Sub-Game in Kirby's Dream Land 3, and should not be confused with the action of performing aJump.

Jumping is aSub-Game inKirby's Dream Land 3, accessible from a save file after completingMG-5. Finishing a round of Jumping with a score of 10 or higher is required for100% completion.

Overview[edit]

Kirby makes a jump.

Unlike MG-5, the player can choose to play as either justKirby, or Kirby paired up with one of his sixAnimal Friends. Choosing a different friend has a small impact on how to time the jumps.

The game takes place in an endless sequence of steps, based on theGoal Game. In each step, Kirby has to land on a space with a happy face beneath it. If he lands on a space with aTick underneath, he gets jabbed and loses. Each step adds one more Tick than the last, until there is only one happy face left. Once it reaches this point, the game will continue indefinitely until Kirby misses and gets hit by a Tick.

To complete this Sub-Game, Kirby must clear at least 10 rounds. The player can earn up to 99 points, after which the score will not update.
