InKirby and the Forgotten Land andKirby and the Forgotten Land – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World, there is a band namedthe Deedly Dees inWaddle Dee Town, who play at theWaddle Live! Corner Stage. Their overall function is similar to that of previous games'Jukeboxes, as they play music tracks that the player has heard during the game, and can play successive tracks in "Auto" mode like a playlist.

The band consists of four Waddle Dees playing guitar, bass, keyboard, and drums; they play in time to the music, and only when their respective instruments are playing, and Kirby, Elfilin, and Bandana Waddle Dee dance to the beat. The music plays continuously throughout Waddle Dee Town when selected. When no track is selected, the Deedly Dees play around with their instruments by plucking and tuning strings, pressing muted keys or striking the cymbals. Each music track has its own name that is displayed on-screen while it's playing, the first instance of this in the main series.

The Deedly Dees first appear in Waddle Dee Town after completingLab Discovera, though not all of the tracks are available at first; when certain thresholds are met, Kirby can donate Star Coins to upgrade the stage and unlock more tracks (1,000 Star Coins for the first upgrade and Tracks 052-079 after clearing Lab Discovera, 2,000 for the second upgrade and Tracks 080-096 after clearing Forgo Dreams). Music unlocks under the following conditions:

• Track 034 unlocks upon clearingTilt-and-Roll Kirby.
• Track 076 unlocks upon entering theHAL Room in eitherRocky Rollin' Road orThe Wondaria Dream Parade.
• Track 077 unlocks upon entering the HAL Room inBurning, Churning Power Plant.
• Tracks 078 and 079 unlock after clearingLab Discovera and theColosseum's Meta Knight Cup.
• Tracks 087-089 unlock after clearing theisolated isles of Forgo Dreams and The Ultimate Cup.
• Tracks 090-092 unlock after clearing The Ultimate Cup Z.
• Track 093 unlocks after collecting all 256figures.
• Track 094 unlocks after clearing the game 100%.

When the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is purchased, some tweaks are made to the Corner Stage. Specifically, besides including the new tracks forStar-Crossed World, it also tweaks the note shapes and colors for certain composers. Star-Crossed World's primary music (Tracks 097-116, 118 and 120-127) unlocks after defeatingGenwel Meteonelfilis. Other music tracks unlock under the following conditions:

• Track 117 unlocks upon entering the HAL Room inWastes That Count Time.
• Track 119 unlocks upon clearing Tilt-and-Roll Kirby.
• Tracks 128–143, 148 and 149 unlock after clearing The Ultimate Cup Z EX.
• Track 144 unlocks after rescuing all 120Starries.
• Track 145 unlocks after collecting 85 EX figures.
• Track 146 unlocks after completing all Star-Crossed World content and speaking toAstronomer Waddle Dee.
• Track 147 unlocks after clearing the Star-Crossed World story and enteringKirby's House.
• Track 150 unlocks after fully completing both the main story and Star-Crossed World.

Each composer is represented by a different music note color:

• Yellow tracks are composed byYuuta Ogasawara;
• Blue tracks are composed byHirokazu Ando;
• Red tracks are composed byJun Ishikawa (the music notes aremagenta in the original version);
• Green tracks are composed byYuki Shimooka (and the music notes are eighth notes in the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition);
• Purple tracks are composed byYuki Kato (Nintendo Switch 2 Edition only; the music notes are eighth notes);
• Orange tracks are composed byMegumi Ohara (Nintendo Switch 2 Edition only);
• Magenta tracks are composed byShogo Sakai (Nintendo Switch 2 Edition only);
• Indigo tracks are composed byTadashi Ikegami (Nintendo Switch 2 Edition only).
