Iron Barbar[Japanese title] is an invincible enemy first encountered in theDangerous Dinner level inKirby's Return to Dream Land.
It is similar to its aquatic cousin, theBarbar, but it bears a red and black color scheme and is generally much larger on average. It resides in lava pits, and, unlike theBarbar, remains completely hidden until it pops out to attempt to eat any intruder. If it catchesKirby or one of his friends, the player will need to shake the Wii Remote (or spin the Control Stick inKirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe) in order to break free. Regardless, this will usually end up costing Kirby hisCopy Ability if he had one at the time.
Iron Barbar is a very rare enemy, only appearing instage 1 andstage 3 ofDangerous Dinner.
