Ice-Cutter is aPower Combo featured inKirby 64: The Crystal Shards. It is a combination of theIce andCutter abilities.

When the ability is active,Kirby gains a pair of ice skates, which he uses to skate across the ground. Kirby can perform a flashy spin jump to damage enemies, this being his primary method of attack with this ability, though this jump renders Kirby effectively impervious during the maneuver.

Kirby will automatically continue to skate on one foot while the move is in effect; pressing the directional button in the direction that Kirby is heading will make him alternate his skating foot, going faster. He stops only if he hits a wall or if he skids to a stop on the ground. While skating, Kirby will need to skid for a moment whenever he needs to turn, with this skid also being an attack. Even while the Ice-Cutter ability is active, Kirby still takes damage from running into enemies.

Like the other abilities inKirby 64: The Crystal Shards, the ability does not change Kirby's physical appearance until he uses it.
