is a type of invincible enemy and hazard which debuted inKirby 64: The Crystal Shards. It is a green trapezoidal box with rounded edges and a single, large eye on its front side. I³ is invincible and repeatedly moves up and down, attempting to land onKirby and do him harm. While it will hurt Kirby if it hits him or he touches it, it cannotcrush him, instead just dealing him one bar of damage and knocking him away like any other enemy. I³ also appears on the 32ndEnemy Info Card.

InKirby Star Allies,Adeleine can paint an I³ which will fight her enemies by leaping forward, then landing on them.

Trivia[edit]

  • In behavior, I³s resemble theThwomp enemies from theSuper Mario franchise.
  • Most likely by coincidence, I³ and are the only enemies in theKirby series who have exponent numbers in their names, and both of them appear in the same game.
  • It is possible that the "³" in I³'s name is a reference tothe algebraic notation of cubes, reflecting its shape.
