Reason: Fundamentally the same. See talk page for more information.

AHazard is any obstacle within a stage that either directly or indirectly harms or impedesKirby or another playable character and cannot be classified as anenemy, adevice, or part of the static terrain. Hazards may also affect enemies or other non-playable characters, but this is not a strict requirement to classify something as a hazard. Hazards serve primarily to add another element of challenge to gameplay and, when not meant to be avoided entirely, often require a certain set of techniques to overcome or take advantage of. Common examples of hazards in theKirby series includespikes, crushers, andbottomless pits, but may also include non-damaging things such as wind and water currents (withwater itself falling into a gray area and not considered a hazard for the purpose of this page). There are also a number of enemies that function more as stage hazards, such asGordos,Squeaky Hammer Machines, andboulders, and those too will not be covered on this page.

List of hazards in theKirby series[edit]

The following is a list of every distinct hazard throughout theKirby series. The first table covers environmental hazards that span numerous games and may have a large number of variants, while the second will detail more specific hazards that belong to relatively few games, if not appearing in only one game. Note that hazards which appear only inSub-Games will not be listed here:
