Eternal PlanetHalfmoon is one of the planets whichKirby can visit inMilky Way Wishes, one of themain games inKirby Super Star andKirby Super Star Ultra. It is a planet beyond the realm of sense, with all sorts of different starry and windy environments.Computer Virus serves as the boss of this planet, though it has tougher enemies to battle than the one inThe Great Cave Offensive. Halfmoon is home to twoCopy Essences Deluxe. These areMirror andNinja.
Overview[edit]
Thestage begins as Kirby flies up through a field with a view of outer space. He lands and bounces across three stars before reaching the door to the next area.
Kirby then finds himself in a grassy zone with a very strong breeze throughout and a rapidly scrolling starry background. Kirby will need to contend with enemies, spikes, andpitfalls as he fights the wind, but aWarp Star can be accessed in the middle of the path to let Kirby skip the rest of it if he wants.
In the following area, Kirby must traverse a starry cavern while walking and ridingCarts across stardust floors. The path continues to the right past several stops and starts until a door is reached at the end.
In the following area, Kirby can ride another Warp Star to quickly move through a tunnel of hazards, but if he takes it, he will fly right past a couple valuable items. At the end of the flight path, Kirby is ambushed byIron Mam andChef Kawasaki simultaneously. The door appears once both are defeated.
The next area features a strong updraft. Kirby must make his way up past several cliffsides with foes and hazards occupying them. Along the way, Kirby must pass through a suspended pool of water to find the door up at the top. This door leads to the Computer Virus boss.
- Kirby rides a star through a tunnel made of stars with yet more stars in the background.

Boss: Computer Virus[edit]

- Main article:Computer Virus
Computer Virus serves as the boss of this stage, though this time, the fight is different. Instead of starting with the Slime, the boss starts with the Magician, and then follows with the Evil Knight and the Great Dragon. Just like before, the fight takes place in turns, and Kirby is given a bunch of superfluous point gains after the fight is over. Defeating Computer Virus clears the stage.
Other appearances[edit]
InKirby Star Allies, Halfmoon sometimes makes a cameo appearance in theFar-Flung Starlight Heroeslevel hub. In addition, the end of the fifth level inGuest Star Marx Galactic Ambition contains a recreation of the original stage.
Trivia[edit]
- InKirby Super Star only, one of the decorative pieces of scenery in the starry cavern area withCarts isMimas, one of Saturn's moons.
