Halcandle Dee^{[Japanese title]} is a stand-in forWaddle Dee which can be found onHalcandra. It bears many of the same qualities as a standard Waddle Dee, including its often lazy movements and carefree behavior, but it can be distinguished by its appearance, wearing a gray jumpsuit which has a small fold on the top and shows only a pair of oval-shaped eyes, similar toMagolor's.

Like Waddle Dee, Halcandle Dee provides noCopy Ability when swallowed, unless it is also carrying aParasol.Armor Halcandle Dees also exist, which look distinct from the standard variety.

InKirby's Return to Dream Land, Halcandle Dee can be seen in theHalcandra levels,Egg Engines andDangerous Dinner. InKirby's Dream Collection Special Edition, it can be found inNew Challenge Stages andLast Land challenges.
