Green Spider Grass[Japanese title] is a rare herb that is shaped like a spider's web from theKirby novel series. It appears in the eighteenth volume,Kirby: Uproar at the Kirby Café?!, as a plot device. Green Spider Grass is one of the ingredients for making a medicine that cures the illness caused by a poisonous insect bite. It grows only on the dangerous mountains at the north ofDream Land. Because of its rarity and preciousness, the insects of the mountains protect it like a treasure.

WhenBandana Waddle Dee read the ingredients for the medicine they need to cureWhispy Woods, he learns that Green Spider Grass is needed for it.Kirby volunteers to get it from the mountains, andKing Dedede joins him too. While searching for it, Kirby accidentally touches a real spider's web, thinking it is Green Spider Grass, and causes an alarm which alerts the insect. When Kirby tells them that they are searching for the Green Spider Grass, the insects become angry, thinking they want to steal their treasure, and attack. Later, Kirby and Dedede forget their mission, and remember it only whenBugzzy mentions that they came to steal the herb. After defeating Bugzzy and explaining the reason that they need the herb, Bugzzy gives them the Green Spider Grass. When they return, they grind it and add other ingredients to create the medicine. To make Whispy Woods wake up, King Dedede tickles his nose with the herb, causing him to sneeze. King Dedede pours the medicine and Whispy Woods heals.
