Listed below are the glitches inKirby Fighters 2. Please read theGlitch Disclaimer Notes before attempting any of the glitches on this page.

List of glitches[edit]

Artist hyperspeed[edit]

IfArtistKirby uses Sculpture on top of a platform and uses Masterpiece Movement to walk off the platform, then attacks with Creative Destruction right as he lands on the ground, his movement speed will be massively increased. This increased speed will end if the player leaves the ground orslides.[1]

Bandana Waddle Dee corpse pushing[edit]

IfBandana Waddle Dee gets knocked out on the left side of most stages in a battle with more than two players while facing right, his pushbox will remain despite being knocked out. If pushed to the other side of the stage, the pushbox will disappear. Oddly enough,King Dedede cannot push Bandana Waddle Dee in this state.[2]

Crouch state storage[edit]

If the playercrouches as they getgobbled/grabbed by another player, their character stays in the crouch state after getting thrown or released from the gobble despite the player not crouching anymore. This allows for the player to be able to avoid any crouchable move while grounded without the need to crouch. The only way for the crouch state to be reset is if the player crouches again.[3]

Fighter dash state storage[edit]

When using theFighter ability, if the playerdashes and comes to a complete stop, Kirby's dash state is stored despite having stopped dashing and will be able to use any dash attack from a standstill.[3]

Increased movement speed[edit]

If the player performs a directionaldodge in midair just as they land, the momentum from the dodge will be stored and their movement speed will be slightly increased. However, leaving the ground or sliding will return the player's movement speed back to normal.[3]

King Dedede guard pushback conservation[edit]

As King Dedede, if the playerguards an attack that pushes them back, the pushback from the attack can be conserved by using the basic Hammer attack. This will cause Dedede to be pushed back the next time he guards.[3]

Living Ghost past time limit[edit]

If a boss is defeated by residual damage after the timer has run out, a previously knocked out teammate will appear to revive with a static Ghost pose, at which point the Ghost teammate will behave as if properly revived, while the boss will play out their defeat animation. The battle will still be considered lost and must be retried.[4]

"Ready?" graphic glitches[edit]

If the player pauses the game right before the "Ready?" graphic appears and then un-pauses, then the graphic will not appear at all when it's supposed to. Alternatively, pausing the game shortly after the graphic appears will not cause the graphic to remain paused, and it will eventually disappear behind the pause menu. Regardless of how it's performed, this glitch is purely cosmetic and the "Go!" graphic will appear shortly afterwards.

Sound effects playing when they're not supposed to[edit]

If a certain boss attack likeKing Dedede & Meta Knight's tornado attack begins shortly before time runs out, certain sound effects such as the sound effect for King Dedede getting dazed afterward will still play on theGame Over or Time's Up screens, even when all other sound effects are supposed to be muted under normal circumstances.
