Gip

| ||||||||||||||||
Gip is a regularenemy that first appeared inKirby: Nightmare in Dream Land. For reasons unknown, it replacesBounder from the original game,Kirby's Adventure, and is one of the few enemies to replace an enemy from the original (the others beingNeedlous andPhan Phan). It usually patrols the ground or clings to walls, shooting star-shaped projectiles at Kirby in order to hurt him. It also appears inKirby Super Star Ultra, where it again replaces Bounder's original appearance fromKirby Super Star; it is one of two replacement enemies in the remake, alongsideCapsule J2. Gip, like a handful of other enemies, does not give any ability upon being swallowed.
Gip is based on the idiom "when pigs fly," which is used to describe something that is impossibly unlikely.
