Gigatzo is an invincible stationaryenemy that debuts inKirby's Return to Dream Land. It is a larger counterpart toShotzo, characterized by its large red barrel and giant flaming projectiles it fires in a straight path that cannot beinhaled or reflected, though it usually fires these infrequently.
Reprises its role fromKirby and the Forgotten Land, and appears inStar-Crossed World.
Kirby's Return to Dream Land /Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe[edit]
In its debut inKirby's Return to Dream Land, apart from firing projectiles, Gigatzo (in one of the alternate dimension sections inDangerous Dinner) is shown to cause pillars it is situated in to move downward because of its recoil, creating a crushing hazard forKirby.

Gigatzo returns inKirby: Triple Deluxe. In this game, it gains a slight redesign, and it is not quite as large as its appearance inKirby's Return to Dream Land. However, it is now capable of changing its direction of fire in certain instances. It appears again inKirby: Planet Robobot, essentially unchanged from its incarnation inKirby: Triple Deluxe.

Gigatzo appears again as an enemy inKirby and the Forgotten Land and itsNintendo Switch 2 Edition, serving the same purpose as usual. Gigatzo's shots can travel very long distances, but it will not fire shots if it cannot be seen. It also appears inStar-Crossed World, though it does not have a Crystal variant.
