Gaspar

Gaspar is an obscure flying ghost-like enemy who made its first appearance inKirby's Dream Land. It operates very similarly toBooler and resembles other ghost enemies such asStogue, though Gaspar has only appeared in two games, and has not made any significant cameos in theKirby media since.
Characteristics[edit]
Gaspar resembles a circular ghost - much like Booler - though it also possesses a night cap, depicted as red in its official artwork. Instead of sticking its tongue out, Gaspar takes a more reserved posture, and possesses large cheek blush similar to Kirby in his later appearances. It also somewhat resemblesNoddy in appearance, mainly due to its soft face and cap.
Gaspar can be seen flying aboutCastle Lololo in various patterns, and may also home in on Kirby. It flies in slightly different patterns in some areas, but apart from that, is identical in behavior to Booler.
Game appearances[edit]
Kirby's Dream Land[edit]
Gaspar makes its first appearance inKirby's Dream Land, where it replacesBooler in theCastle Lololo stage whenExtra Game is being played. Gaspar behaves in a practically identical manner, but deals twice as muchdamage toKirby when colliding with him. Gaspar is worth 400 points when defeated.
Kirby's Dream Course[edit]

Gaspar appears in this title as a common course hazard. It hovers in the air, in a similar manner to other flying foes likeUFO. In this title, it is portrayed with a blue hat and a darker peach coloration.
