Fruity Forest is the fourth stage ofWorld of Peace: Dream Land inKirby Star Allies. This stage is a short plain and forest tromp which ends with a fight againstWhispy Woods; the firstboss in the game. Completing this stage unlocksClash at Castle Dedede.
A small portion of this stage is playable in the "Grassland Stage" from thedemo version of the game. A notable change to said portion is that the music played in the area before the boss is still "Honey Hill" instead of "Green Gardens", as it continues from the truncated section used fromHoney Hill.
Overview[edit]
The stage begins out on the fields, as the path heads up a cliff. Kirby can find someInvincible Candy under a set of boxes here. Kirby can use the candy to rush along the path ahead.
From there, Kirby and his allies will need to climb up a long series of ladders past platforms with enemies manning them.
In the last area, Kirby and his friends bound from a platform and make their way along the path. They are blocked by a familiar foe — the ever-persistentWhispy Woods, who has been taken by a strange power. Kirby and his friends defeat the giant tree, causing a piece of theJamba Heart to pop out of him. Kirby and his friend do their victory dance, but then the heart starts floating and flies away, prompting the Star Allies to give chase.
Rare Picture Piece Guide[edit]

Along the path just after theInvincible Candy, a chamber can be found under the main road full ofNruffs containing aTreasure Chest. Inside this chest is the picture piece.
HAL Room[edit]
There is a hiddenHAL Room in this stage. In order to access it, Kirby must first head to the end of the stage, just before the battle with Whispy Woods, but not actually initiate the battle (he must get close enough that Whispy's canopy is visible and the background music fades out entirely). If done correctly, a doorway will appear at the beginning of the area, allowing Kirby to head back to the beginning of the stage. Along the way, new items will appear that can be collected. Once at the beginning of the stage, a new doorway appears in the tree just above the starting point. Heading through the door leads to a new area where the letters HAL can be found made ofStar Blocks, along withCopy Essences and other goodies. To the right of this area is aFriend Platform for theFriend Star formation. Kirby can use this formation to fly back to Whispy Woods and defeat him much more quickly than normal. The HAL Room in this stage can be re-entered as many times as the player wishes. In fact, the entire path will reset, allowing Kirby to recollect all of the yellowPoint Stars he finds.
- This door appears when triggered properly.

In Guest Star ???? Star Allies Go![edit]
Rooms of Fruity Forest are used in level 1 of all routes ofGuest Star ???? Star Allies Go!, in particular due to all of them featuring the last room of this stage, that has the battle with Whispy Woods (although, inThe Three Mage-Sisters' run, he is replaced withParallel Woods). While the second room is present in most routes, it does not contain anyPower-Up Hearts orDream Rods to collect. Also, the HAL Room of this stage is not accessible in this mode. The following is a list of Power-Up Heart locations in reused rooms:

Trivia[edit]
- If Kirby tosses aFriend Heart at Whispy Woods just after defeating him, Whispy will become his friend and drop a bunch of goodies for Kirby and his team to collect, including somePicture Pieces. If Whispy catches fire and is then befriended, however, instead of dropping fruit, he'll drop cooked foods instead.
