Frigid Fjords

Frigid Fjords is the sixth stage (first extra stage) ofSnow Land inKirby's Epic Yarn andKirby's Extra Epic Yarn, unlocked by defeatingKing Dedede with enough beads to obtain thePenguin Patch. This stage is an extendedOff-Roader race, much likeDusk Dunes though significantly more challenging. Clearing this stage yields theHoliday Gift Patch, which is used to unlockEvergreen Lift.
Patch animation[edit]
Upon throwing the patch, several penguins appear which knock out some icy pillar sections to the right while sliding away. Once that is completed, the door opens.
Overview[edit]
The stage begins with Kirby transforming into theOff-Roader using aMetamortex. From there, he can race against more than a dozenTruck Monsters on this icy course. Along the way, several precise jumps will need to be made in order to pass all the other racers and make it to first place. Done successfully, Kirby can claim the prize inbeads and then finish the stage.
