Fossil Reef

Fossil Reef is the last stage (second extra stage) ofWater Land inKirby's Epic Yarn andKirby's Extra Epic Yarn, unlocked by clearingBoom Boatyard and obtaining theWrench Patch. This stage is an extendedDolphinMetamortex section involving jumping between floating bubbles of water.
Patch animation[edit]
Upon throwing the patch, a wrench, screwdriver, and hammer appear to fix up a busted yellow submarine. Once fixed, the submarine activates and floats up and over the door briefly, stirring shells in the process. After some coral anemones grow, the submarine moves off screen and the door opens.
Overview[edit]
This stage takes place across four main chambers, each with a somewhat shallow pool at the bottom and several floating water bubbles above. Kirby can use theDolphinMetamortex to travel quickly between these bodies of water, several of which are floating around, while also avoiding or defeating the water-bound enemies. TheBonus Bell can be found at the end of the fourth chamber past theReel Gate.
