Forgo Leon, titledPossessed Beast, is aboss inKirby and the Forgotten Land and itsNintendo Switch 2 Edition. This boss is a stronger form ofLeongar, who is possessed bySoul Forgo. Forgo Leon is fought in the last stage ofIsolated Isles: Forgo Dreams,Forgo Land, and is also the tenth opponent of The Ultimate Cup Z and The Ultimate Cup Z EX in theColosseum. Forgo Leon retains most of Leongar's old attacks, but also gains some new ones and new spins on many of his previous ones. Soul Forgo also appears partway into the fight to harassKirby while Leon is attacking him. After Forgo Leon is defeated, Soul Forgo flees from Leon's body to fight Kirby on its own, before having judgment cast on it byMorpho Knight.
Attacks[edit]
Forgo Leon's battle consists of two main phases, each defined by a separate health meter. The first phase is more-or-less identical to the second phase of Leongar's fight in Lab Discovera, while in the second phase, he uses a lot of the same attacks as in the prior battle's first phase, but powered-up. Halfway through the second phase, Soul Forgo appears to attack Kirby alongside Forgo Leon. In The Ultimate Cup Z EX, Soul Forgo will always show up after the 2nd attack regardless of Forgo Leon's health.
Forgo Leon has 1,400 HP in phase 1 and 2,000 HP in phase 2 when fought atForgo Land, and has 980 HP in phase 1 and 1,400 HP in phase 2 when fought at theThe Ultimate Cup Z.[1]

When fought in The Ultimate Cup Z EX inKirby and the Forgotten Land - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World, "Judgment of the Malus Pumila" and "Onward to a Pain My Heart Knows Well" fromKirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe play during the battle. The former plays for the first phase, and the latter for the second phase. In addition, Forgo Leon and Soul Forgo's moveset get upgraded in addition to a different, though still slightly random, attack order.
