"Forest Stage" is a music track debuting inKirby's Adventure, mostly playing in various forest themed stages. It has also appeared in various other games since.
Game appearances[edit]
Kirby's Adventure /Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land[edit]

In bothKirby's Adventure and its remake,Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land, the theme is used inVegetable Valley - Stage 4, the dark room inButter Building - Stage 6,Grape Garden - Stage 4, the dark room inGrape Garden - Stage 6, andYogurt Yard - Stage 5. Exclusively inKirby's Adventure, the theme also plays in the last room of Butter Building - Stage 6 and inKirby: Nightmare in Dream Land, the theme also plays in theBig Switch room in Grape Garden - Stage 6.
In theSound Test ofKirby's Adventure, the normal version can be found as Music 11 and a version of it without the intro can be found as Music 12. In the Sound Test ofKirby: Nightmare in Dream Land, the theme can be found as Music 09.
Kirby Air Ride[edit]
An arrangement of the track can be unlocked as the alternate track forCelestial Valley by completing theAir Ridechecklist objective "CELESTIAL VALLEY: Over one race, ride on both the left and right bridge railings!". It can be found as track 13 in the game'sSound Test, and is arranged by the original composer, Hirokazu Ando.[1]
Kirby & The Amazing Mirror[edit]
The main theme ofCabbage Cavern is a funky, slow-paced arrangement of the theme with a swung rhythm. It is named洞窟・岩場エリア (Cave/Rocky Area) in theKirby & The Amazing Mirror Sound Plus album, and can be found as track 7 in the game's Sound Player.
Kirby: Canvas Curse[edit]
InKirby: Canvas Curse, a fast-paced arrangement of this theme titled"Canvas Canyon" plays in thestage with the same name. It is found in the Sound Test as track 17.
When the "Old School" sound mode is selected, theKirby: Nightmare in Dream Land arrangement (referred to as"Classic Song 1-5" in-game) plays inGhost Grounds andDreamy Darkness. Moreover, this version of "Forest Stage" appears during thestaff credits when playing asWaddle Doo.
Kirby: Squeak Squad[edit]
An arrangement of "Cave/Rocky Area" plays inStage 1,Stage 2 andSecret Stage of Nature Notch,Stage 1 of Jam Jungle, andStage 4 of Vocal Volcano. It is namedステージ:洞窟 (Stage: Cave) on Nintendo Mobile, an official Nintendo ringtone service, and can be found as track 26 in the game's Sound Player.
Super Smash Bros. series[edit]
InSuper Smash Bros. for Wii U, the arrangement fromKirby Air Ride is one of the default tracks of theDream Land (64) stage.
The track also returns inSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate now an unlockable track, and can be played on anyKirby stage, Battlefield, Big Battlefield, Small Battlefield and Final Destination, like all otherKirby tracks.
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse[edit]
A new arrangement of the theme can be found inWoodland Battle, to later be played in the game'sMusic Room, track number 20. This version is, for the most part, faithful to the original, but it features some unique elements, such a new short outro.
Kirby: Planet Robobot[edit]
The arrangement fromKirby Air Ride plays inGigabyte Grounds - Stage 7 EX. It can be found as track 122 in the game'sJukebox.
Kirby Air Riders[edit]
InKirby Air Riders, theKirby Air Ride arrangement reprises its original role.
Other appearances[edit]
The original version of the track was included in theKirby's Adventure soundtrack, while theKirby: Nightmare in Dream Land version was included inThe Very Best of Kirby: 52 Hit Tracks, the "Cave/Rocky Area" arrangement in theKirby & The Amazing Mirror Sound Plus album, and the "Canvas Canyon" version in theKirby's Dream Collection Special Edition Compilation Soundtrack.
The theme also received a vocal arrangement in theKirby's Adventure album namedカービィ・メドレー (Kirby Medley).
The"Electro Kirby" Bonus Track from theKirby's Dream Collection Special Edition Compilation Soundtrack features a short remix of the tune at 2:15–2:23.
Track 2 ofThe Sound of Kirby Café 2,踊る森の実りたち (Fruits of the Dancing Forest), is a jazzy swing medley of various forest themes of the series, andForest Stage is the first theme present in it. This medley was arranged byYuuta Ogasawara.
