Flappy is a common enemy only found inKirby Air Ride. It is a multicolored, half-bird half-pterosaur creature.
Kirby obtains theWing ability when swallowing Flappy.

InKirby Air Ride, Flappys do not attackKirby directly, but do follow him wherever he goes, and can harm Kirby if the two come in contact. Flappys normally appear in random places, usually inAir Ride courses; preferablyBeanstalk Park.

Other appearances[edit]
Prior to the game's cancellation, Flappy was planned to appear in theKirby for Nintendo GameCube game as an enemy and aHelper. It appeared in the game's E3 2005 trailer, where it was seen defeatingWhispy Woods alongsideKirby,Parasol Waddle Dee and an unnamed,bomb-wielding Helper. A screenshot released by Nintendo of Europe additionally shows Kirby riding a Flappy.
