- This article is about item from Kirby Air Ride. For the recurringCopy Ability, seeFire. For the course inTop Ride, seeFire (course).
Fire is an item which appears in theTop Ride mode ofKirby Air Ride. It appears randomly during standard races, dropping onto the course. When a racer picks it up, that racer's vehicle is equipped with a flamethrower in the back. From then, performing anotherBoost will cause the flamethrower to activate, leaving four conflagrated areas on the ground behind the racer before the item is removed. Enemy racers who then run into these areas will be scorched, and forced to slow down.
The Fire item can be removed prematurely if the racer is hit, does aQuick Spin, or falls into a stage hazard. The item will also disappear on its own accord if it is not used within 8 seconds.
