"Final Boss"[Japanese title] is a theme composed byHirokazu Ando forKirby's Adventure, serving as the boss battle theme ofNightmare's wizard form.
Game appearances[edit]

Kirby's Adventure /Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land[edit]
Kirby's Adventure marks the theme's debut, being used in Nightmare's wizard phase. It can be found as the 14th theme in thesound test (0E in hexadecimal). Before the battle, a brief intro plays, matching with the opening cutscene of the battle; this intro is separate from the rest of the track, and does not play if Kirby restarts the battle after losing a life. The intro can be found as the 13th theme in the sound test (0D in hexadecimal).
A faithful remix of this theme also appears inKirby: Nightmare in Dream Land, playing in the same circumstances. The intro is track 23 in the sound test, while the main theme is track 24.
Kirby: Canvas Curse[edit]
A remix of "Final Boss" titled"Spectacle Space" plays inthe eponymous stage. This was arranged byJun Ishikawa.[1] Additionally, theKirby: Nightmare in Dream Land arrangement plays during the fight withDrawcia Soul when the Old School option is on.
Kirby: Planet Robobot[edit]
The "Spectacle Space" remix fromKirby: Canvas Curse plays inAccess Ark - Stage 7 EX ofKirby: Planet Robobot. It can be found as track 129 in theJukebox and as track 49 on Disc 1 of theKirby: Planet Robobot Original Soundtrack.
Kirby Star Allies[edit]
Starting from version 4.0.0 ofKirby Star Allies, a techno remix of "Final Boss", named"Battle of Nightmares" onNintendo Music, plays on theMorpho Knight battles if player 1 isBandana Waddle Dee,King Dedede, orMeta Knight. This version is arranged byJun Ishikawa and can be found as track 174 in theJukebox.
Super Kirby Clash[edit]
Four different arrangements of "Final Boss" play inParallel Nightmare's different phases.
- The first arrangement plays on his first encounter at the Ruins and is very faithful to the original. It was arranged byKiyoshi Hazemoto[2] and is called"Parallel Nightmare".[3]
- The second arrangement plays during his encounters at the Empyrean.
- The third arrangement plays prior to starting theToughest: The Final Battle Story Quest.
- The fourth and final arrangement plays when fighting Parallel Nightmare's Revenge.
- "Parallel Nightmare", the theme for theParallel Nightmare Story Quest byKiyoshi Hazemoto.
- Toughest: The Final Battle's prologue theme
Kirby's Dream Buffet[edit]
"Parallel Nightmare" fromSuper Kirby Clash, named"Super Kirby Clash: Bonus Song 3" in-game, can be unlocked as a bonus track for races and Free Rolling if the player has save data fromSuper Kirby Clash on their Switch and completes their first Gourmet Grand Prix.
Kirby Air Riders[edit]
InKirby Air Riders, a remix of "Final Boss" titled"VS. Nightmare" plays during theVS. BossStadium against Nightmare.
Other appearances[edit]
The theme was performed live at theKirby 30th Anniversary Music Festival as part of the "Kirby Finale Battle Fest" medley, along with "Vs. Marx", "0² Battle", "C-R-O-W-N-E-D", "Fatal Blooms in Moonlight", and "Vagrant Counting Song of Retrospection". Only the intro section was arranged.
