Festival is a single-useCopy Ability that debuted inKirby Star Allies. The Festival ability gives Kirby a captain's hat with a frock of colorful feathers attached to the back. When used, time freezes and Kirby and anyFriends present will dance, dealing massive damage to all enemies on screen and turning them intoPoint Stars once the dance concludes. Festival's power increases if more friends are present to dance. Once the dance is performed, Kirby will lose this ability.
Festival is the first limited-use Copy Ability to be introduced sinceMagic inKirby & The Amazing Mirror - a 14 year gap.

Trivia[edit]
- The Festival ability was designed to celebrate the25th anniversary of theKirby series, further proven by the ability using the graphics of the 25th anniversary logo ring at the end of the dance.[1] This also applies to its appearance inKirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, which was released during the 30th anniversary of the series.
- InThe Ultimate Choice,Point Stars are still created when using Festival on common enemies, even though there is no counter for them. The player has to go out of their way to try this, obtaining the ability during the Yggy Woods fight and then keeping it until a mid-boss ambush.
