Composition[edit]
"Enter the Fiery Forbidden Lands" is a dramatic orchestrated theme in B-flat minor and 4/4 based on "Running Through the New World" and "Welcome to the New World!". After a four bar intro setting the tone, the brass comes in with "Running Through the New World". The second phrase of said theme is repeated by flutes. Due to the faithfulness of the arrangement's harmonic structure, the second section of "Running Through the New World" played by strings comes in a hopeful major key, but is then quick to return to the dramatic minor. The first section repeats with more intense instrumentation, alternating between strings, low brass and a solo trumpet's declamation.
As the tension builds up, the intro, now extended to a transition, repeats. "Welcome to the New World!" comes in the low woodwinds. More instruments join for each new phrase. A harp glissando plays, leading into the chorus in A-flat minor. Brass of different registers accentuate this climax with declamations of the following phrase, which is then repeated multiple times at different pitches, slowly simmering down. The intro repeats, and the track loops.
