Embird is a small fiery birdenemy which appears exclusively in theHot Wings battle in bothKirby's Epic Yarn andKirby's Extra Epic Yarn. Embirds are the children of this particular boss, and are conjured by their mother at various points during the fight, flying in a straight line and hurting Kirby if they make contact with him. Embird can be grabbed with theYarn Whip and thrown back at its mother to deal her damage. Otherwise, Embird can be defeated by attacking it with anotheryarn ball or aRavel Ability.
Their name is a portmanteau of the words "ember" and "bird".
