TheEastern Forest is a deep and ancient woodland adjacent toWhispy Woods Forest in the anime seriesKirby: Right Back at Ya!. It is home to the elder oak treeAcore and several intelligent animals, including recurring charactersRick andCoo. This forest is a setting only in the episodeWar of the Woods, when Acore is threatened byKing Dedede.

Characteristics[edit]

Unlike Whispy Woods Forest, the Eastern Forest is much older and more biologically diverse, with thick vegetation similar to that ofBabagahara. Its dense canopy causes much of the forest floor to be enveloped in shade at all times. The forest is situated in and near a series of sheer cliffs; one of which has waterfalls running down it. Whispy Woods is shown to have a degree of influence over this forest, as his apples are used to revitalize it after a flood caused by King Dedede rushes through and carries many trees off.
