Drill Machine^{[Japanese title]} is a hazardous object which can be found inKirby's Return to Dream Land, inEgg Engines - Stage 3. It is a box with a spiky surface on one side and a piston mechanism inside which regularly shoots out the spiky side while spinning it.Kirby will take damage if he touches the spikes.

Kirby can make his way past this hazard, but if he has either theFlare Beam orMonster Flame ability, he can destroy it. Doing so will causePoint Stars and occasionallyfood to drop from the remains of the box.
