Dig and Destroy! Drill Trial (Drill Treasure for short) is a stage inTreasure Road, found inEverbay Coast. This stage tasksKirby with completing a challenge revolving around the use ofDrill, using the "Quake Surge" move to defeat enemies. The stage is unlocked after completingConcrete Isles. It is marked by one star of difficulty and has a stage time of three and a half minutes (three minutes in Wild Mode), with a target time of one minute and 10 seconds.

Stage details[edit]

This stage features a series of square platforms connected by bridges leading to the right. To start off, Kirby needs to demonstrate that he knows how to use the "Quake Surge" technique by hitting four redswitches at once inside a cage. From there, he is allowed to proceed to the right, where he will face three successive waves of enemies who are also ideally defeated using Quake Surge. Once all three waves are complete, Kirby can collect theRare Stone at the end of the stage.

Tips[edit]

The following are tips on how to attain the target time for this stage:

• As demonstrated at the beginning, the best way to deal with most of the enemy waves is by using Quake Surge to encircle them. Kirby will need to be sure to pop out at the right time to hit the enemies in each wave.
• In the second wave, the Rabiroos will not bounce toward the middle until they have spotted Kirby, so he needs to be above ground first to get their attention.
