This article is about the stage inKirby and the Rainbow Curse, and should not be confused with theDig and Dash! Path of Fences Treasure Road stage inKirby and the Forgotten Land.

Dig and Dash is the first stage of the levelYellow Dunes inKirby and the Rainbow Curse. In this stage,Kirby ventures through underground ruins.Keys, metal balls, and soft sand are introduced in this stage. The enemiesDrill Cotta,Grindarr, andMega Grindarr first appear in this stage.

Completing the stage unlocksDeploy the Kirby Tank!.

Overview[edit]

The stage begins in the desert. Kirby digs through soft clay within the area until he reaches acannon that fires him underground.

In the area following, Kirby encounters numerous Drill Cotta. After he obtains a key, Kirby uses it to unlock thegate and continue downward to the next area.

Next, Kirby comes across a couple Grindarrs in this area, as well as a time-challengedoor.

In the area after, several short puzzles are completed by Kirby to unblock a Mega Grindarr's path downwards, which also allows Kirby to continue to the next area.

Here, a door leading to a puzzle room is located, with no other obstacles.

After Kirby enters into the next area, multiple larger sized Drill Cotta attack him from above. Once Kirby reaches the bottom, he uses a cannon to make his escape to the surface.

Once the surface is reached, Kirby completes the stage by using theroulette wheel.

TreasureHow to reach
Just past the locked gate leading downward in the second area, there is a large room filled with sand, where several puzzle pieces must be quickly collected by Kirby to obtain theTreasure Chest.

Treasure 2:Top Ride Medley Music
In the third area, a door to a challenge room can be found furthest to the right inside a block of sand. Kirby must complete the aforementioned time-challenge in this area to obtain the treasure chest.

Treasure 3:Grindarr Figurine
Shortly afterMega Grindarr starts his descent, the path splits in two, withGray Zones andfood found on either side. Taking the path on the right here leads to a room with twoGrindarrs poised over sand at differing height. The player will need to erase some of the sand holding the right Grindarr up, then move Kirby around past the key and then quickly slide him under the Grindarrs before they fall to get the chest.

Treasure 4:Drill Cotta Figurine
This chest is locked away by three separate gates that require keys to open. To get all three, Kirby will need to have visited both of the paths mentioned in the previous treasure guide, likely needing to use aStar Dash to rocket back up after completing one side to get to the other. The third key is obtained in a hidden chamber nearer to the doors on the left side. Here, a small puzzle involving a marble needs to be solved to get the third key.

Treasure 5:Space Area Music
Near the end of the fifth area, after disembarking from Mega Grindarr, a batch of sand in a ceiling alcove can be cleared away to reveal a hidden doorway. Entering this door leads to a puzzle room involving a marble, which the player needs to impart enough momentum to in order to hit the switch and open the way to this chest.
