Deep-Dive Deep is the fourth stage ofWater Land inKirby's Epic Yarn andKirby's Extra Epic Yarn, unlocked by clearingSecret Island and using theHeart Patch. This stage is an almost entirely underwater affair taking place in deep underwater caverns, tunnels and a shipwreck, which also involves theDolphinMetamortex. Completing this stage yields theOctopus Nook Patch, which is used to unlock the fight withCapamari.

Patch animation[edit]

Upon tossing the patch, a small female anglerfish appears and kisses the large one below, causing it to remove the inky barrier above the seafloor and the door to the stage to open.

Overview[edit]

The stage begins with Kirby jumping into an underwater tunnel from a small cavern room. The tunnel leads through many aquatic creatures, along with volcanic vents that will need to be pulled tight to safely cross. From here, Kirby will need to deal with a couple ofDanglerfish, then flee from a huge one down a long tunnel.

In a couple places, Kirby can dive out of the water to grab somebeads. The last area involves several more sections where Kirby will be chased by giant danglers down tunnels filled with hazards. With some skillful swimming, Kirby can escape to another dry portion of the cave and reach theBonus Bell to end the stage.
