"Dark Meta Knight"[Japanese title] isDark Meta Knight'sboss battle theme, first appearing inKirby & The Amazing Mirror.
Composition[edit]

The original version fromKirby & The Amazing Mirror is composed by either Hironobu Inagaki or Atsuyoshi Isemura, sound designers fromDimps Corporation.
The track is composed in 6/8 time signature, with a BPM of over 200 providing a short and intense theme. The track opens with a set of menacing chords. From here, the bassline starts descending continually from a D-flat/C-sharp, snapping back upward just after the start of each measure. Simultaneously, the ARR1 synth slides between two haunting tones. After this, a different version of the intro chords play, with each phrase separated by a measure of the bassline on its own, which is now descending various octaves. Finally, a short build-up brings the track back to the ARR1 slide.
