Cyclods areenemies that appear inKirby's Epic Yarn andKirby's Extra Epic Yarn. They are very similar toUniclods, having the same body style, attack style and first stage appearance (Flower Fields); however a key difference between them is that Uniclods have horns, whilst Cyclods do not. Therefore Cyclods are non-damaging enemies. However, whenKirby is hit by a Cyclod's attack, he is still knocked backwards; similar to the attack of aWaddle Dee, but more powerful. Cyclods were created byYin-Yarn to help him take overPatch Land. They can also sometimes be seendriving trucks.
Cyclods can be defeated in many different ways; with Kirby's yarn whip, or with many of Kirby's numerous different forms.
Its name is a play on "Cyclops" and "clod" (a stupid person); also, "clod" is a cognate of "klodde" ("rag" in Dutch), reflecting to the yarn and fabric theme of the game.
